EDUCATION

Degree in dentistry and dental prosthesis obtained in March 1996, at the University of Verona, with honors.

SPECIALIZATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

From 1997 to 2000 he was Postgraduate student in the Master of Science program in Periodontology at the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands, where he obtained the “Diploma in Periodontology” and the “Master of Science in Periodontology” with honors, supporting the specialization thesis in Implantology entitled “The Biocompatibility and Biodegradation of Calcium Phosphate-based cement to cover defects around implants. Experimental study.”

Publication of the Specialization Thesis in the International Journal “Clinical Oral Implant Research” year 2002.

Actively participates in the European recognition by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) of the Master of Science Program in Periodontology of the Dutch University of Nijmegen.

From 2002 to 2017 he was Contract Professor of Periodontology in the “Perfection Course in Periodontology” and director of the same at the Dental Clinic of the University of Padua (Dir. Prof. G.A. Favero first and Prof. Edoardo Stellini then) and co-supervisor dissertation in Dentistry in the field of Periodontology.

He directed annual courses of “Clinical Implantology” from 2002 to 2009, the course “The duties of the dental assistant in implant and periodontal surgery” in 2009, the course “Sinus lift and split crest: what to do, what not to do ”from 2003 to 2009, the course “The treatment plan: a global vision” in 2008 at the Medical Training center in Treviso.

He has been a speaker at international (Keystone Dental 2009) and national (Bologna SIO 2009) Oralplant (2016) conferences in the field of periodontology and implantology with particular interest in aesthetic problems, management of peri-implant soft tissues, maxillary sinus lift methods cases of total edentulism treated with conometric implant prostheses

Since 2015 he has been collaborating with prof. Piattelli Adriano and his group from Chieti developing clinical research projects and in vitro studies by testing various implant systems, publishing and reporting in Italy and abroad.

Since October 2020 he has held the position of President of the Revcon Academy which deals with the development and study of implant-prosthetic systems of the implant company AoN of Grisignano di Zocco and coordinating a group of clinicians with the same purposes.

He has always been a promoter and supporter of double conometry implant systems with particular interest in cases of total implantology with the conometric concept (CLIKSS) achieved through Computer Assisted Navigated Surgery (Navident).

He is a member of national and international scientific associations.
